Finally a boot for me!
This is the first pair of boots I have been able to fit. This is truly for the girls with wide and extra wide calves. These are likely not for you if you fit a normal wide calf boot. I did order a size up because I thought I would need the extra but I was wrong and reordered the right size so order your normal size and they do fit calves wider than the size chart (fyi).

Comfy and Sexy
I bought this a couple weeks ago and they are really comfortable. I think the block heels makes them feel like they aren't too high. They hit below my knee.
I got the extra wide calf and it's loose, which is nice. I don't think I could have done the regular wide calf--and it's nice not to have the boot feeling suctioned to my leg. They aren't loose enough to fall down.
What I like about these boots is that they are kind of sexy--but very understatedly so. Like, I can wear them as a professor to teach; but I could also wear them on a date.

Perfect boots
I’ve been looking for a velvet pair of knee high heeled boots for ages. These are so soft and comfortable and make my legs look long. I struggle finding boots that fit my calf and these are just perfect.

Brown boots
These are very cute boots. Unfortunately they were too big on me. I have 20 inch calves and the extra wide calf was way too loose on me. The material is very stretchy so I think you’d be able to get away with just the wide calf instead of extra. But if you like the looser look then wide calf would be for you!

Cute but too big for me
So sad :( initially I ordered these boots according to the sizing chart which said for my shoe size I needed an extra wide width, when they came and I tried them on they wouldn’t even stay up because they were way too big for my calves. I exchanged the boots and got the regular wide width and while the boots do stay up, there is a bubble of loose fabric on the inside of my calves. I tried to make these work but because I wasn’t looking for a “slouchy” suede boot, I just can’t look past the bubble of fabric and will return them sadly :( I can’t find chocolate brown boots like this anywhere. Maybe since suede is already such a stretchy material Torrid could experiment with small calf sizes so we all can enjoy these kinds of boots, I’d buy every color!

Love but too big
I wanted to love these boots. They are a great color and I love the height of the heal and texture of the fabric but the calf is so incredibly large they will not stay up. The fabric is also stretchy so that makes it even baggior. I returned them, sadly.

Bizarre sizing and fit
I bought an 8 wide based on previous reviews saying the boots ran big. The wide calf is supposed to be 16.2 and my calf is 17 inches. Still way too big. They slide down and the fabric bulges out around the midpoint of the zipper. Very poorly designed.
