Great jeans!!

Perfect wide leg jeans!
I’d been looking all over for some wide leg jeans—we used to call there carpenter pants or painter pants. After reading the other reviews I was a little worried about how the waist would fit. However I got these yesterday and they fit perfectly! Love the style and fit; and will definitely be wearing these a lot!!

Great Jeans!
I needed jeans other than skinny, these fit the bill. They are comfortable, a little roomy in the thigh and waist area, and fully covers my large butt. I first ordered these in the black, but saw they just added blue, and had to get those too. I also love the pockets.

Misleading reviews!
I am a size 24 in other jeans or 22/24 size 3. I ordered a size 26 in the black because of the reviews saying they ran super small. They’re HUGE in the waist on me which is pretty shocking after so many reviews saying they’re so small. I have been a size 24 for the last two years in any jeans from Torrid.

Got the size 16, usually a size 16/18 in Old Navy jeans for comparison. The jeans feel very soft but are very thin which can be a plus side in the summer but makes me doubt the quality for the price. They’re pretty cute in a boyish way, the crotch area felt tight as always (would have liked more fupa or thigh allowance) but the sides and legs were pretty baggy and I think stretched with use. The color is incredible not too light and a good true medium wash, perfect any season. Excited to pair this with girlier and tighter tops since the pants are so baggy. First time buying jeans on Torrid but will return to check out other styles during sales

Absolutely no stretch
These have absolutely no stretch. I am usually a size 20 in stretchy torrid jeans. I ordered these in a 22 and it did not fit. I literally re ordered for a size 26.

Black pair - no stretch
I tried these on in store, this review is for the black pair not the denim colored pair. Soooo nice to have a change from the flood of skinny jeans, so thanks Torrid! These have what I call chunky attitude. They are very wide in the thigh and leg. The waistband was super tight and without any stretch at all, which seemed at odds with the looseness of the thighs and legs of the garment. Like another reviewer I think the black jeans from Torrid just have less stretch, or are cut tighter. If the waist band had any give in it, I would be wearing those jeans now. I would love to see this jean style again but with some stretch at the waist/body.

No Stretch
These jeans are really cute, but be advised they run small. They have very little to no stretch and run on the short side, in my opinion. I wear a size 20/22 and the size pictured is a 22 and I could hardly move in these, much less walk. Perhaps you need to size up one to two sizes for these to accommodate your shape if you’re in the heavier side and carry your weight around your middle. I would have liked to try a larger size, but the 22 was the largest they had in stock. I’m 5’8 for reference. Cute, but they should have really added stretch to the design, they missed the mark on that.

I was absolutely thrilled with the perfect mid rise vintage wide leg jeans I got two pairs, hoping to stay on trend with these as well. I remember wearing these in the 70’s and the 90’s.. yes I’m old but I am a trend lover. I purchased the darker coal shade and have kind of noticed darker pants in torrid fit snug.. the perfect wide leg were stretchy and looser and oh so comfy in a 14. I always read the fabric type and stretch ability.. these are 1% spandex and the vintage jeans are 2% and it does make a difference! These in a 14 were so snug at my waist,( my smaller area) that I thought I’d ordered my usual 12.. so I would say size up.. but I’m conflicted as the fit everywhere else is perfect for me..am I bloated? I’m not sure if will go up an another size or see if they give a little after wearing them.. they are pretty cute
