nice dress

The perfect dress
I love this dress. I’m 5 feet tall and it sits the floor. It fits perfectly, sits at all the right spots for me. The cross cross in the front ensures the straps don’t fall down. I have gotten so many compliments from wearing it. The material is a bit heavier than I expected but honestly it’s a favorite purchase.

Great Dress
Fits true to size, is so flowy, comfy and the perfect length. I'm 250lbs 5ft7in with average bust and larger in the middle. This dress is flattering; hugging the right spots and camouflaging where needed. The fabric isn't too thin or thick, making it perfect for any season. There is plenty of stretch so if you need a bit more room for your bust, it shouldn't be a problem. I would recommend and buy again.

So Cute!
I love the sturdy feeling of this dress! You can wear this to an outdoor activity and not have to worry about if you have to sit on a rough surface. I always feel like I have to be super careful when I wear something made with the super soft fabric. I'm 5' so sadly it's a little too long

Good dress
I purchased this dress as I love the jersey Maxi dresses. This one is a little stiffer, I guess because of the painted design. I cut the neck strings off and you cannot even tell there were strings. I think it looks better.

Lips Dress
Online, the lips on the dress seemed to really pop in colour but in person only the red lips really show up.It had me wishing that the dress was white so that the rainbow of lips colours would stand out more.The material is a very comfy jersey and the adjustable straps made it just skim the floor.I am 5 ft 7.Size 2 fit me perfectly to size.

Super cute, but long
This dress is very cute, but it is super long (I am short, but its much longer then other Torrid Maxi dresses I purchased before). The crossed ties also sit very high on me, to the point I will need to remove them to wear it. It is super soft.

I have this dress in another style and wear it weekly, so I got this one. Being a maxi, it runs big. I'm 240 pounds, 40C bra, with most of my weight in my butt/legs/hips, I bought a size 0 and I feel like a potato sack, even around my butt. I'll be returning for a 00. I love the fit of this style dress, no bra needed for me, thick and heavy fabric, overall good quality. It just runs big! It's also very long, I'm 5'6, not sure how tall this model is but it hits my ankles.

bought on impulse because it looked .. DID NOT NOTICE the neckline, lines? oh boy do I cut off? Do I just not care? not sure, wished they weren't there? Maybe I'll like over time? plus it's like ALOT Of fabric! make sure you pull this fully into car when you go somewhere..... shrug. still on the fence if I like ornot

I bought this on clearance because I liked the neckline and print but I had to make a number of modifications for it to be wearable for me. The criss cross on the neckline was uncomfortably high on my neck/chest, so I cut those off. The bottom ruffle was so heavy that it felt like I was dragging a wet towel or something, lol...that came off too (pics are prior to re-hemming the bottom of course). Also bummed there weren't any pockets, I guess I'm getting spoiled by torrid and kind of expecting them on these styles of dresses but that was my mistake for not checking the description first :P Overall I think it is SO much better without all of the extra design elements and it is a comfy dress in an easy to wear jersey knit fabric and I will get much use of it in the coming summer months for sure :)

This dress is soft and comfy but I'm 5'3 and it's almost a foot too long, dragging on the ground. Runs big at the waist and chest, too. Thick fabric, not great for warm weather.
