The lace is so pretty, not itchy and I love that they tacked the surplice top so cleavage is not a problem even when sitting because the lace is so wide. I'm 5'2 and short waisted. The waistband started at the top of jeans and ended below the button. I tried it on with mid rise denim capris but will probably wear with high waisted jeans and short boots when cooler weather hits. I love the feminine puff sleeves.
