I’m usually a 2x but I sized up to a 3x because of the material and other recommendations on here to size up. I’m so happy I did because this fits perfectly. It’s not too tight but also not too large. It’s not revealing either. Perfect to wear to work. Absolutely love the color. Perfect for the summer because of the light material.

This top is so beautiful and flattering. I am glad I sized up though. I usually wear a 2 in Torrid tops, but I sized up to a 3 based on other reviews that mentioned it's more fitted. A 2 would have been way to tight in the stomach area for my comfort, but a 3 was perfect!

I've been looking for this exact style of surplice too for so long. I always intended to layer it with a cami, particularly the foxy camis that are so snug, I have probably 15 different colors of them. So I'm pretty happy Torrid has given me the surplice too of my dreams. The black one is perfect, comfy and true to size. But now I need this same top in other solid colors: red, emerald green, gray, lilac, white. Make it happen, Torrid!

This top feels so soft and feminine! It is stretchy just as I like my clothes to be so that I feel that I can move around without any tightness. It is fitting and elegant. It is true to size and short in terms of length. I ordered a size OO and it fits snuggly - wonderful with a pair of loose bottoms whether pants or skirt.
