Great staple to have
I bought this about a month and a half ago and I'm absolutely in love with this jacket. It has a lot of stretch in the fabric and I like that the sleeves are not skin tight and they actually come down to the middle of my hand. That way I can fold or roll them up. I've worn it once and received several compliments
And the color goes well with just about everything that I have in my closet.

As soon as these dropped on the site I added them to my cart. Both colors are beautiful. The green is a true army green and with the gold buttons it’s amazing. The foxglove one is also so much prettier in person, in my opinion. I know some people hoped for a brighter pink, but this isn’t as bubblegum as the photos indicate. It’s more of a mauve. It actually looks like a neutral shade of pink that’ll match a lot more than I thought it would. I love it and I also love how both have different color buttons. The green buttons lean more dark gold and the foxglove buttons are a dark pewter. Both jackets fit true to size and come with extra buttons. The gauze details make this military style more feminine. These can be casual or dressed up or anything in between. Please make this exact jacket in black, Torrid!!

So cute!!
I absolutely love this jacket! I got it in the pink color. It is a little more mauve than it looks in the pictures, but still VERY cute. I wear a 2 and I am very busty; this fits true to size for me.

Get it while you can!!
I almost missed out on this one. An amazing associate pulled it for me and it is one of my favorite pieces. I can't describe it any other way than the perfect pretty pirate attire. The military buttons give it a little edge while the trim is light and delicate. Fit is a little roomy but only makes it perfect for layering, no need to size up!

Great Jacket!
I just received mine in the mail yesterday and I LOVE it! I only gave it four stars because there are no pockets, however, it is a very flattering fit. I also normally go a size up on jackets to accommodate for layering, no need to with this one. I ordered my usual size and it is roomy enough for layering...

Nice color and design!
I really wanted to love this jacket right out the bag but first try was off to ruff start. I got my usual size but the fit was smaller and tighter than usual. I am 5’2 / 195 and it smeeed tigger in the upper arm, sleeves too long, and thgtrr all around - kind of a more cropped fit than I expected. I returned to size up.

I just received the pink version of this today. It's more pinkish-mauve but quite pretty. I'm a 3 and to me, it's true to size, maybe a tad large but fits well

Mauve not Pink
I want to start by saying the jacket is absolutely beautiful. Great quality. I ordered the pinky color and it's a lot darker than I expected. More of a mauve color. Still a pretty color, just not what I expected. It does run a little large, more so in the arms. If you carry weight in your arms this should work great for you. If you have smaller and shorter arms this jacket might look too big on you. I usually wear a 3 but the three is too big and the 2 is a little too small in the chest.

Awkward shoulders.
I wanted to love this but did not. I have noticed lately with Torrid jackets and blazers that - for me- the arms are super big and then the body is cut tighter, so tight that the jacket would never close. So I end up looking at a bigger size, where the arms look clownish in order to get the gap in the front to an acceptable width or I end up a size down with the arms a better fit and the gap in the front waaaaaaay too open, so much so that you look at it and know the jacket does not fit. It is like the arm holes and sleeves are made for a different woman than the torso is made for. Probably there are people that this is a perfect fit for, so maybe it would be nice if Torrid offered jackets in both 'tight hourglass waist' and a more inline - generous 'straight cut' for those of us who don't have a teeeeeny waist. Anyway. As others have remarked the pink is actually a mauve color. I also did not like the way the shoulders are cut, on me it made my shoulders look unflattering rounded no matter what size tried on. I would like to mark this garment both too big and too small at the same time.

So pretty, but too open
I love the color, the way the lighter fabric offers coverage, and the great fit of this jacket.
My experience is that it fits small. I like to have less of a gap in the front even with open jackets, and the gap is too big for me to be comfortable with. I'll have to return and size up. I also found it snug in the arms, which doesn't bother me but I know others don't like it.

Runs large & Color is Off
I loved this jacket in the photos but in person it’s a little disappointing. The color is leaning towards mauve and is far from the pretty pink shown in the photos. The jacket runs large and the sleeves are so long that they’d have to be altered before I could wear the jacket. The length was fine and the quality of the material was ok. Overall the jacket was disappointment and will be returned.

I so wanted to love this but unfortunately the buttons all over the jacket are holding on for dear life. One wash or dry clean and you wouldn't have any. These military style jackets are incredibly cute but the design needs to be reconsidered . Maybe leave the arm buttons off and try a different button for the chest. The material is also very scratchy. Stick to Ponte with these. Cute design concept but poorly made and terrible material.
