Beautiful green color!
One of my favorites from my recent shopping spree! This dress is flattering and comfortable. It's perfect for work and compliments my green eyes. I received many compliments when I wrote it this week for the first time. You won't regret this purchase.
The length is perfect, I'm about 5'10" and wear a size 4 usually. Sometimes 3. Could have gotten a 3 in this, but I prefer my dresses longer for work.

Fall colors I love
I got the red geo print and wow! It’s stunning on and I love the waistline because it really gives my apple shape a beautiful silhouette and I am impressed by the quality of the fabric. I’m tall, 5’10” 196lbs and ordered a size 1. Probably would have had a little more room in the bust with my normal size 2, but I’m happy with the slimming appearance of the 1. No extra fabric to add bulk. It’s just perfect for the transition into Fall in Texas as it stays pretty hot here until December.

I adored this dress from the first time I saw it hanging. I think the color is a little darker/more green in person but still with a bit of blue in it. I wear the shoulders up so create a wide neckline rather than off-the shoulder. I sized down to a 0 to get a good silhouette on the smallest part of me, the waist, and it still give me plenty of space for my pear shaped hips. Fabric is cool enough for fall.

This dress in my new favorite! It fits like a glove and it’s extremely flattering!! I did size down 1 size and I’m happy I did. For reference I’m just under 5’4 and I’m pear shaped. I ordered a size 2 and it went to my ankles. I ordered the green color and I’m just in love!! Buy the dress!

It is a maxi for me at 5'3, right at my ankles, and exactly what I was hoping it would be. The sleeves can be worn off the shoulder or on. I can get away with a size 2 in most Torrid pieces, but I prefer my clothes to be more flowy, so I typically buy a 3. This fits just like the other Torrid size 3 pieces I have. The waistband and flow of the skirt is great for creating shape and hiding a belly if that is something you're looking to do.
Got complimented the first time I wore it. If you're a dress person, this is a good one to add to your wardrobe!

I bought this t try on because I liked the color. I fully expected to send it (and a few other things) back. I kept everything. I fully expected this to not have enough boob room and thus be extremely immodest, that was not the case. This fits like a dream, it's light and comfortable and very flattering. I have always loved the challis material and this is not exception. It's not prone to wrinkling, is light and has just a bit of stretch without being floppy, it also has a wonderful drape that's heavy enough to lay nicely but not so heavy as to be clingy. I also like that this can be worn on or off the shoulders.

Honestly, Torrid, how dare you make this dress and NOT have 50 color way options?? How do I love this dress? Let me count the ways: 1- Fit in versatile and incredibly flattering. Doesn't make my butt look boxy. Sleeves can go up on the shoulders or off. Doesn't wiggle around. Flat waistband under the bust is SO flattering and doesn't add front bulk. Just wow. 2- These colors/fabrics. There may be only 2 but *chef kiss* 3- the COMFORT. Insane. The fabric is so lightweight and soft even in the summer. I told everyone who complimented it that I felt like I was wearing a nightgown. This dress is Wendy Darling's nightgown but FREAKING CUTE. Honestly I see these dresses on the website and they usually don't work for me. I was in store and decided to try it on on a whim and I'm just obsessed. I'm so ready for this to be brought back with more colors and patterns.

I bought this dress in store yesterday and I fell in love the moment I put it on. You can wear it off the shoulder or on, either works. It’s really flattering on, but most importantly…it’s COMFY! And it has pockets!! For reference, I’m 5’2, 260lbs, the dress sits right at my ankles, and I’m wearing a size 2 in the picture. (Also, the dress is more green in person than it is blue).

(The fine print says the length is 48" but I have many Torrid 48" length dresses and this one is a little longer - truly a "tea length" - which I love!)
