I'm a huge fan of a square neckline and the material of this dress is perfect for summer. People usually don't think to wear black in summer, but the fabric breathes beautifully, so it's actually lovely.

Super cute!
When I pulled this out of the package, it was a bit “Little House on the Prairie”. On, it is cute, flattering, and would look great with a three quarter length sweater…Maybe a belt. It’s versatile and could be worn to many different occasions.

I wanted to love this
I tried to wear this dress today. It was 80 degrees. Perfect day for a nice gauzy strap sundress. Unless it has a thick uncomfortable liner. Seriously. I really wish Torrid would stop putting these godawful liners. In the sundresses.
It was so heavy and hot. I kept it on for 20 minutes and put on a different dress. This dress I can't cut the liner out of because you can see through the material. It's a real shame because it's a nice dress. The top is comfortable, it has pockets & the straps are perfect.

Wanted to love it
I bought hoping it would be similar of two of my favorite dresses. The slip I think is a bit too thick and is sewn to the dress of which makes it bunch and sit weird. Really wanted to love it, but am disappointed.

Not chambray…
This material is not chambray at all. The slip is weird and the body neckline isn’t for everyone. The fit is the dress isn’t awful but the slip ruins the feel for me. I loved the look of the buttons because it adds a little more to a basic black dress. I really wanted to love this dress but it’s going back.

I like the dress has adjustable straps but not by much. Don't like the slip is attached to the front. Wished it more of a aline with a higher hem. The neck line makes me feel more boxy.

This dress is really cute but it's not comfy at all. Cheap rayon fabric and it doesn't stretch at all. It's not soft it's actually scratchy. For $150 for me to buy it and ship it to Canada I was very disappointed.

Cute but made weird
I love the look of this dress but it is made so weird. The under slip is for some reason sewn to the top layer along the front button line and it causes this weird bunching up. Also be sure to read the description because I thought it was a cotton blend fabric like a similar looking dress I've purchased before and it is not.
