Really glad I purchased this dress! It is sexy but sophistlicated- and the fabric is soft, very comfortable. Bought my usual size and the fit was spot on., even though I am a petite plus size (5'3). Perfect for a night out.- rather Audrey Hepburn-like in style!

Goth summer dress!
I love this dress! I am 6' tall and this dress fits like a midi or tea length actually should, but never does. I've purchased several midi dresses from torrid and while they're lovely, usually just hit below the knee at my height. This one actually hits at mid calf, which is perfect for me. The top is a stretchy material and can be as off shoulder as you want, while the bottom part is a breezy material that flows beautifully when you walk. Goth summer perfection for me!

I am ordering this dress today it is lovely. Upon other reviews it sounds comfortable and has made a few of the Women feel quite sexy! I just wanted to let some of Torrid customers know that Tea length is in between a maxi and midi length! For those of us that are shorter like myself I am 5‘4“ it may come to the top of my ankles but I don’t mind. Maxi dresses are often way too long for me so I find that a tea length dress is my maxi! I hope you all enjoy this dress as I will when I receive it.

I love this dress! It is super flattering! As other reviews stated, it isn’t a mid length dress, but it is still gorgeous. I’m 5’1 and it is long in me, but it does not drag on the ground. I like the length actually.

Just received this. I have a lot of black Torrid dresses. This is very flattering. I am 5’5 and it is a maxi on me. It does flow to my ankles. Will look awesome with dressy sandals. Perfect for my birthday lunch with a great necklace. I am 65- and I love the sleeve and neckline. This is a style that is very flattering for my body type. I go between midi and maxi’s- the model must be very, very tall. Beautiful fabric and I feel sexy. Received very wrinkled but a quick, light iron will fix. Will wear in fall with denim or faux leather Moto jacket!! Normally a 2- it was perfect fit.

Yes, this dress is long, but as long as you think of it more like a maxi, it’s lovely. The top material is the same make as torrid’s leggings, so it has plenty of stretch. The bottom half is challis with good air flow. I kept spinning in it to make it flutter. It would go great with some strappy gladiator sandals.

Thought maybe I could wear this further up on the shoulders but the dress is quite big in the top and the opening is too large. Was not a fan so this is going back.

RESPONSE - PLEASE READ THE SPECS ON THIS DRESS
I am 5'1" and I own MANY midi dresses. All of them - without fail measure 48 inches - and they are NOT maxis on me. They hit mid calf as a midi should. This dress measures 52 inches - a full 4 inches longer than ALL of the midis I already own. No need to insult someone's intelligence just because they don't agree with you. Yes - the dress is very nice - but it is not a midi.

I just received this in the mail. This dress is shown as a MIDI dress - looks like a midi on the model - but this is a MAXI dress - it drags on the floor. I can't say how disappointed I am! I can't wear maxi dresses - I am only 5' 1" tall.
