Poplin Bermuda shorts
I don't wear shorts in public unless they are bike ones under a dress. I love these shorts!! They are extremely comfortable and look nice. I took them on vacation, in New Orleans in June (so sweaty) I even washed them in my hotel room and hung them up to dry. Wore them to a museum with a TEE and out to dinner with a sleeveless top. I just ordered a second pair only wish they were available in more colors. I might have been able to go down a size but I didn't want to push it.

Fabulously Comfortable!
Took a chance and bought online and I'm glad I did. They aren't too long, so I would say they're a "normal" length rather than bermuda. They also have a covered elastic waistband, so size down if you're in between sizes.
