In reference to “misfit.Debbie”…If you or someone you know sews, stitch vertical to hold elastic in place.
Can be done by hand also. Sew one vertical on each side & two verticals front & back, spaced about 4-6 inches apart.
Waist band may still roll but not the elastic inside as u described.

Cute Skirt, Bad Waistband
This skirt is super cute BUT the waist band makes for an uncomfortable wear! The band twists and turns and won't lay flat. I'm going to have to pay a seamstress to put stitching in to hold the waist band in place. Torrid should have better quality, especially at this price point.

Cute except the waistband
I love the design on this skirt but I do not like the waistband. The elastic band did that fun thing some do where it just starts bunching and twirling and getting all weird. Currently trying to find a way to keep the elastic inside the band from getting all twisty and stuff.

Quality was lacking
I was disappointed in this skirt. It was poorly made and felt like something you would get at shein. Also the hemming was misaligned and thread was everywhere. It is such a shame. I have been looking for a beetlejiuce skirt and Torrid dropped the ball. This could have been a one off, but I will not be reordering.
The skirt is true to size. The print is beautiful. The quality was horrible. Torrid please re-do and re-release this. I would not pay full price at all. I would recommend waiting for a good sale or purchasing on clearance
