This is adorable! I got my normal size and it’s a great fit. Hides my apple shape belly and flatters the chest area. Will need a good steaming and I wish there was more tulle under the skirt but that can be remedied!
Perfect to wear to the Halloween event at my crystal shop!

I bought this dress specifically to wear to go see wicked with my fiance. It's very comfortable. I originally got a size 2 but it fit big so I got a 1 and it fit better. I wish the green was more noticeable and it was a tad shorter. I'm 5'3 so it's a little long on me.

Defying Gravity!
My 24th birthday was in July and Torrid sent me a birthday coupon. I wondered what I'd wear to see Wicked at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta when I saw this dress: PERFECT to cosplay as Elphaba. The coupon AND 40% off combined was the perfect price. Obviously, the green tulle was stiff and the cotton was all wrinkled but nothing ironing could not fix (Side note, can Torrid please use a material that doesn't prone to wrinkles?). Because of the cotton, it is perfect to wear on cool summer nights and perfect for Halloween. I got compliments from strangers the whole day. Even Elphaba herself, Olivia Valli, LOVED my dress and said, "You look amazing!" If you are hesitant to get the dress, don't! It's worth the purchase and ironing. And as I learned, it's perfect for singing No Good Deed at the stage door lol. This dress is flying high, defying gravity.

Release the monkeys!
Omg I wore this to dinner tonight and I felt great in this dress! My husband who is not at all about this kinda style said I had the whole "Addams Family" vibe going which tickled me to death. It wears great glowed nice has give where it should in the bust arms and hips so ladies it's a buy! I love the little nod to the wizard of oz with the green lace and the single green monkey. My only complaint was it was super stiff and rinkled when I got it I tossed it in the dryer and it didn't help much but wore it anyway and mostly they worked themselves out BUY IT!

The top fits well and is true to size. The shoulders are a lot puffier than they appear to be in the pictures. The way the lining is sewn makes the skirt puff out quite a bit and makes my narrow waist look thick. This dress might be perfect for an apple shape! The martial is a little stuff, but feels fine against my skin and the skirt lining is very soft. I’m returning only because of the fullness of the skirt part.

I wanted to love this dress but it's not a great quality dress. When did Torrid start selling all these dresses made out of such a stiff cotton blend. A lot of the dresses I've recently purchased have this almost nurse scrubs like feeling to them and not in a good way. I'm talking those cheaply made scrubs with no give that are stiff and not flattering. I love the look of this dress and from the picture you are convinced that you need to purchase it. Alas it is very costume like and the green tulle that peeks out from underneath is terrible.

Wizard of Oz cute dress
This Wizard of Oz dress is a bit of a disappointment. The fabric seems to attract lint/hair, it’s not very flattering on me (5’ 3” rectangle shape size 5), and it seemed a bit large for a petite person. It’s really cute, it’s just not for me.

I really wanted to love this dress. But it runs very big and the sleeves just add too much bulk. The green tulle is adorable and the flying monkey on the back so cute. Just didn’t sit right on me.

Bought this for the Beetlejuice vibes but was a bust. Had high hopes for this one but the material is awful. It’s very stiff and wrinkle prone - trust me this one needs an iron even on the sleeves. The fit is actually okay, I’d say it even runs a little on the larger size. The green mesh on the bottom was warped and wouldn’t hang down on its own. Not for me, but hopefully for someone else!
