My 3rd pair of these kind of pants!!!
I am 5'4" and have some tummy love, kids! Lol! I had to size down. They are so comfy!!!

Chic red shorts!
They fit comfortably not too tight but not loose. They look just like the model. I am usually a 1X in the majority of items I buy at Torrid and either a 14 or 16 in bottoms. I ordered the 14 and they are great. These look like the other long wide leg trousers Torrid has and so I figured they would fit the same but just in a shorts version. I’m 5’7 and they go mid thigh. I like the longer length in shorts so that I don’t have to constantly pull them down after walking. The only thing I worry about is that they don’t start falling apart after a few washes. A few of the bottoms I have bought from Torrid have fallen apart recently.

Nice shorts
I'll begin by saying that once you get the right size, these shorts are absolutely beautiful! That being said don't plan on your normal size as they do run big. And pack your patience, if you think they're only 1 size too big and return them for a smaller size as you may need to go down 2 sizes. I wear and have ordered a 16 for virtually all of my trousers from Torrid and thought these were no different. They were way too big.
I returned them for a size 14. Again they were too large. I returned them and ordered a size 12. They just arrived today and are a perfect fit. Because of the sizing I'm knocking a star off my rating. However, they are worth the effort as they match the blazer perfectly and look and feel wonderful. The material on both the jacket and shorts are a little heavier and are more suited for cooler weather, but that is not as issue for me. Many thanks to the team at the St Louis Park, MN store for all the returns and reordering. They are wonderful and a very supportive group of associates.

Size Down!
I thought the quality of these were nice and they are a professional looking pair of shorts. However, they were huge on me! I have a 45 inch waist and the size 12 was at least two or three inches too big.

Cute but...
The color is dark red not bright like pictured... guess I should have paid attention to the "color" noted as rhubarb! They are really dark reddish burgundy. They run a little big and have no belt loops but have an adjustable strap in the back of the waist which didn't help me.. not a deal breaker tho returning for size down.. nice length on them and lightweight. I purchased the jacket also but it's HEAVY...WAY TO HOT for Summer weather

Not for me
I was trying to find some work shorts. These just didn't look good on me. I ordered my normal 20 and they were HUGE. Ordered a 16 and they fit nicely but still looked puffy in all the wrong spots. Lol

Poor Quality
I was so excited about these shorts, but they fell short of my expectations. The material is see-through and scratchy, plus I just washed them for the first time (I have not had the chance to wear them yet) and, one of the hooks (which are not sewed in, just stuck in there) fell off the shorts. Overall these are poor quality and I would not recommend them to a friend.
