Cute!
Wanted to get a cute dressy coat. This is perfect. It is warmer than I thought it would be, that's a plus. I Love the length, and the arms fit perfectly which is a first. The fit is good, just a lil tight around the boobs... (I'm an H cup) so if you have a larger chest you may want to size up, I'm just putting a big scarf to cover the chest area.

Great length and warm
I bought this to have a dressier option. I wore it to Midnight Mass and it was very cold. I stayed very warm in this coat. My only complaint is that it has snap buttons. And yes the pockets are sewn shut, but that easily comes apart. This is actually very common with coats. I sized up just because I like my coats larger, but there really wasn’t any need to.

Perfect dressy coat

Just what I wanted
I am so glad I found this coat. Haven’t had one with a perfect fit for me in a long time. Wanted a black one but not available in my size. Had the cleaners to steam the wrinkles out . Very pleased with this coat. Will probably see if the black is available.

I like this coat
I actually like this coat despite mixed reviews. I got it when it was marked down and I had $20 in gift money. I think I paid under $50 for it. First, the color is beautiful and I've gotten a lot of compliments. I don't use the snaps that much since it has the tie closure, but I will snap it closed to keep my chest warmer. If you are hourglass or pear shape, you might want to size up. It's a very straight coat. I always get my coats one size up since I usually have a suit jacket underneath. This coat also doesn't have the extra stretch fabric along the arms, so watch out for that, but it wasn't a problem for me even though I have bigger arms. And it does have pockets. Just pull or cut the seems where it is sewn closed. Mine popped right open with little effort.

Just what I 59 needed
Just brought this coat needed for my son's wedding on Saturday. The weather turned quickly here and the ceremony is outside. Brr!
The coat is perfect fit. The price was great on my pocketbook. The sales staff were very helpful they steamed it for my so no wrinkles.

Beautiful coat
I needed a coat for an upcoming business trip. I love thos color and it is very warm. I bought a larger size expecting to need layering room. Unfortunately, it ended up being too big and looked like a bathrobe. I wish I had purchased my usual size.

Just One More Button
I got this coat to go with me to Denmark since it would be easier to carry on the plane. I love the color and it does keep the wind out. I wish there was one more button at the top.

Pockets sewn together
I just got this in the mail and it is beautiful, and warm and lovely. The only problem was the pockets were sewn together. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be but the model is using the pockets in the photos online. It was really easy to fix, I just cut the threads very carefully so it didn't damage the coat, but I am baffled as to why they were sewn together like that. I am looking forward to wearing this for many years to come. It makes me feel very elegant and warm.

This is just your friendly neighborhood reminder that most dress coats are sold with pockets that are sewn shut to deter stoplifting and pocket-sag.
You can tell if there really are pockets, or if its a fake pocket by feeling on the inside liner to see if you can feel the bulk of a pocket pouch hiding between the lining and outer shell of the coat. You can also investigate where the pockets should be and if it is temporarily sewn.. it will be in a loose running stitch (rather than a tight machine stitch) and will be quite easy to undo.
Pro-tip: If there really are fake pockets on a coat.... cut those puppies open and use them as portals to access your pants pockets easily without having to lift up, or open up your coat to reach them. I have literally designed this function into several coats I have made. This is a gift from me to you, pocketless-person!
However, this should indeed have real pockets.

Looks better online than in person. Wasn't a fan of the snaps as opposed to buttons.
Also, it was itchy. Torrid has a lot of great stuff but unfortunately this wasn't one of them.
