What doest a 'Key Holder' do at Torrid? I oen the store and get my staff ready for the day. Throughout the day I do customer service, work on the register, and I help the associates and the management team with whatever they need. Why do you love working at Torrid? I love working at Torrid because it's always been a safe place for me ... I love working with other women who are supportive, and embrace individuality. If I walked into work and said I wanted to dye my hair purple, everyone would root me on and someone would probably volunteer to help. Do you have a 'Fitting Room' story you can share with us? My favorite fitting room instances are when a guest tries on a bra and loves it so much they throw away their old one and wear their new one out. What does being unstoppable mean to you? I've struggled with weight and body issues my entire life. Whene I developed vitiligo, my skin started changing and it was our of my control. I had to learn that I'll always be who I am inside even as my body changes. I know that I can face any obstacle as long as I work hard, stay true to myself and continue to love myself. What advice would you give to someone who is learning to lvoe their body? Learning to lvoe your body is a journey and it always starts on the inside. Practicing self-care, self-love, just focusing on yourself and not caring what anyone else has to say about you. What doest a 'Key Holder' do at Torrid? What does being part of #TeamTorrid mean to you? I love Torrid. Torrid was the first palce that I saw bodies that looked like mine. And I Saw girls that looked like me being confident in loving themselves. So to be able to do that and represent real women who look like me is amazing. What's the highlight of this experience so far? My favorite part has been being styled. Having clothes picked out for me and make to fit my body has been so fun and getting my hair and make up done and just being doted on has been amazing. What are you going to take with you from this experience? I'm going to take the feeling of being unstoppable with me. This experience has really taought me a lot about confidence ... I'm going to take back the attitude that I can really conquer anything. What's something customers would be surprised to learn about you? I love to ride ATV's and went to MotoGP in 2019. Favorite thing to wear from Torrid? I love anything from the Foxy lin. I love how it fits tight, it's comfy and just kind of keeps me in. It make me feel sexy. Why is finding clothes that fit your body so important? At work I always say, 'If you feel good, you're gonna look good.' When you don't have to worry about your shirt riding up, weird gapping in your jeans or your bra turning on you, all you have to do is let yourself shine.
