We hope you love what you've ordered, but we know that sometimes things don’t work out:
  • Initiate your return within 90 days of the purchase date on your receipt or packing slip.
  • If you want to replace an item in a different size or color, we recommend processing a purchase quickly as items do sell out.
  • Damaged or missing items? Contact Customer Service for assistance.
  • Note that a $6.00 return shipping fee will be deducted from your total return amount.
  • Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing returns.
  • Note that PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay purchases can only be returned by mail and not in stores.

Temporary Return Policy

We are starting to open our stores back up. Due to the shipping and receiving delays at our distribution center, we strongly advise that you return items to a local store once we reopen in your area. We have extended our return policy and will gladly accept your returns for up to 30 days after we open our stores. You can check the status of your local Torrid with our Store Locator.

If you need to ship your return by mail, please note: we’ve adopted new practices to protect our employees. Our online return policy is temporarily adjusted to 90 days from the purchase date for all existing and new orders.

What's Not Returnable?

  • Items not purchased at Torrid.com or a Torrid Store (e.g., a third-party reseller, an auction site, etc.).
  • Items without a Torrid Store receipt or a Torrid packing slip.
  • Items with removed tags or items missing their original packaging (e.g., shoe boxes).
  • Clearance items or items marked as “Final Sale”.
  • For hygienic reasons, these items are “Final Sale”:
    • Washed or worn items
    • Accessories: earrings and cosmetics
    • Intimates: panties and lingerie sets
    • Clothing: tights
    • Other similar intimate items
  • Gift Card Returns: No cancellations or refunds on the purchase of a gift card (final sale).
  • eGift Card Returns: Cancellation refunds can be requested on the purchase of an eGift card scheduled for a future delivery date. Please contact CashStar Customer Support for a refund. Note that Buy Online Pick Up In Store orders cannot be returned using the shipping portal. Please follow “Return By Mail - Buy Online Pick Up In Store Returns” instructions below.

VIP members from within the 48 contiguous states get FREE returns. VIP members outside the 48 contiguous states, AK, HI, PR and all other US territories will get a $20 reward credited to their account.

For non-VIP members within the 48 contiguous states, note that a $6.00 return shipping fee will be deducted from your total return amount. Members outside the 48 contiguous states, AK, HI, PR and all other US territories are responsible for all return shipping charges.

Return By Mail - Buy Online Pick Up In Store

1. TELL US ABOUT YOUR RETURN
2. PREPARE YOUR PACKAGE
  • Pack your return item(s) securely with your completed return form (re-use the original shipping materials, if possible).
  • Remove any existing labels on the box.
3. SHIP IT
  • Take your package to your preferred shipping carrier and method (Sorry, we cannot reimburse you for return shipping). Address the package to:

  • We recommend using an insured shipping method that can be tracked as we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packaged.
4. RETURN PROCESSED
  • Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing returns.
  • We will refund your purchase amount to the original method of payment, such as the credit card used for the order. If you paid for your purchase with a Torrid gift card, please allow 3-4 weeks for your refund to be placed back on the original gift card used for purchase.
  • VIP members returning a “Buy Online, Pick Up in Store” order will receive a partial rebate in the form of a loyalty reward. Please allow 7-10 days from the date your return is processed to receive the VIP return rebate.
