Fit great, look great
These couldn't be more comfortable - I bought one pair (sz 18) on sale and then went back and bought another pair because I liked them so much. The waistband is stretchy and doesn't fold over; the inseam is just long enough to prevent chafing, but not overly long. The legs don't ride up and they don't squeeze my thighs. Maybe my favorite thing I've ever gotten from Torrid.

I'm such a fan of the bombshell skinny jeans, and these will now be my fave😃 I usually have trouble finding the right length in shorts, I'm 5'3 and 185lbs. These are the perfect length and stretch in all the right places. For reference, most of my curviness is in my belly and inner thighs.

HOLY GRAIL of jean shorts
Wow- finally a jean short that will stay up, snatches my size 14/16, 42 year old "i had 3 kids and 2 of them were twins waist" without giving me a muffin top or that weird "accentuation of the fupa" situation that some "high waisted slimming type pants/shorts" can - the shorts fit like a glove without riding up my legs on the inside!!! I have struggled for years to find just the right jean short - I always end up having a gap in the waist at the back, or if it fits my waist well its too big for my legs and butt - I bought the shorts in black in the store and I love the way they wear so I decided to try the jeans as well!! So glad I did - These snatch the waist without giving you a muffin top - it doesn't just shove your flesh down so it can balloon out below the "slimming" section of the garment- the nice wide band inside the waist band holds up and doesn't roll over when I sit down! Love the bombshell fit because I feel like these would still fit me even if my weight fluctuated up or down 10lbs which I also love- I will say that the jean short did fit slightly more small feeling than the black short but not a huge difference - thank you Torrid people who made or sourced these haha- i love them!!
