Great Fit
I usually don't like shorts that are too tight. These are a great fit. Form fitting around the butt, while a little loose over the thighs. I also love the deep pockets.

Never tried torrid pants but these fit perfectly, wide legged for those thick thighs, a good amount of pocket space, I recommend

Don’t Size Up
No need to size up. I’m a 10/00 but I made the mistake of getting a 12 just to be sure. In the past I’ve always sized up for black jeans/shorts, bc they always seem to run smaller than the regular jeans counterpart. The 12s fit fine right out of the box, but relaxed with wear, so I would have been fine with my regular size 10s. Unfortunately the 10s sold out immediately, so I’ll keep these and use a belt. They are super cute and comfortable however.

Comfortable Dad Shorts
Bought several weeks ago and they are already a favorite part of my wardrobe. Fit is perfect, they are comfortable and the black color is a rich true black. Very happy that I decided to purchase them as I wasn’t sure i needed to do so but finally said the heck with it and got them. So glad I did.
I did size down from a 24 to a 22 and they fit great.

Love these shorts!
I have been looking for shorts like this in my size for a while! I love them! I'm typically a size 24 and the 24 fit well. After wearing they got a bit looser than expected. I could've sized down but thankfully slightly oversized looks okay with this style. I'm around 5'7" and they hit just below the mid thigh for me.
