Finally a good inseam.
A long time ago, Torrid had 8” shorts…then they disappeared. I changed sizes and needed some replacements…but it was either 5” (which is a little too short for work (very casual office)), or the 10”, which are too long for my short legs. I was so glad to find these. I wear a 12 in the perfect boyfriend jeans, a 1 in the weekend pants/shorts, and the 14 fits just right. Please continue offering this inseam.

These are my favorite!!
If I could wear these everyday, I absolutely would. I love the shape, I am obsessed with the feeling of the jean material, and I feel incredibly confident and comfortable in these shorts. I got the darker color and they’re just perfect. True to size also. I’m somewhere between a 14 and 16 and the size 16 fit me perfectly. I LOVE these shorts.

Fit is perfect!
The fact that these are the first denim shorts I’ve purchased in a decade probably says enough in itself about how nice these are. I hope the loose-fitting denim styles hang around for a while! I’m a size 18, and purchased my usual. Thanks x100 Torrid 🩷

Big thigh friendly!!
These are a dream come true! I have big thighs and they actually fit into these shorts without crazy gapping in the waist. The waist is still a little bit bigger than I would prefer, but this is the best fit I’ve found yet! The legs don’t fit as loose on me as they do on the model, but they’re still loose enough that they don’t feel like sausage casing. Brb, buying these in every color.
(I typically wear a 00/10, and bought these in a 10. They were perfect)

Perfection
Love these. They fit perfect, but stretch as I wear them. Soft, comfortable material. Long enough to keep thigh rub to a minimum but short enough to look cute. I went back and bought a 2nd pair.

1st time trying dad short
This is the first time I’ve tried the dad short style. Without reviews I wasn’t sure what size to get. I usually order shorts 1 size bigger since I don’t like tight shorts.
I ended up getting my regular size of the washback version.
The waist feels a little more fitted (but I just ate pasta 🤷♀️) and didn’t feel high waisted, the bottom of the legs are loose and kinda flare out some.
They actually remind me of the shorts girls wore in the 90’s.
I’m 5’ and 7” is a great length for me not too short, but not down to my knee. I usually buy 8” length and they are just bit too long. Wish more shorts were 7”.
