Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Dress for Summer! I am so excited for this dress; it’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever purchased from Torrid! The pink is even prettier in person (a bit more coralish) and the fabric is very lightweight but not sheer, so it can actually just be worn on its own! I was worried that the sleeves might be a bit too much of a ruffle, but the result is that you can lift your arm up completely without your bra showing!! So that’s a win. The thicker, slightly smocked, waistband works well for those of us with large chests, as it just tucks under and still gives the waisted look, rather than the awkward line across the chest, and I imagine it would look nice full flat underneath on someone with a smaller chest. I hope Torrid incorporates this versatile design feature more often! My only complaint is the button placement on the neckline. The neckline is pretty low, not ridiculously so, but I’d need a cami underneath for work. Or I might just add a button/snap or two so it closes up a little higher. The bodice already has buttons though! They just go down from the V to the waist. I cannot imagine that those buttons are necessary for the vast majority of the population, and if you are going to go through all the trouble of adding hidden buttons to the neckline, why not keep going to level where people might actually want some variety?!? Adding two more buttons would’ve made this dress pretty much perfect! I hope to see it again in more colors, with the option for a slightly higher décolleté!

I bought a bunch of spring/summer dresses this year because I really want the easiness of just throwing on a dress and being done with it. This is by far the best dress I got! Fabric is so forgiving and soft and comfy. I love the sleeve length + design. Love the cut and where it is smocked at the waist. It is super flattering and exactly what I wanted. PLEASE make this in more prints and some solids!!!!!
