Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flatering and Comfortable I was concerned this would come off as 'trying too hard'; but I wore it as advertised, very 80's/90's vibe; and it was so comfy I pretty much didn't care anymore. light enough so you dont melt, but it totally exudes the 'leather look'. nice clean design lends itself to versatility. you will not regret this purch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very cute dress I bought this online a month ago. It's a very cute dress but like the other reviews said it came out the package smelling like it came from a fish mart. I washed it and sprayed it down with Febreze. That seemed to help. Hopefully Torrid starts being more selective with the material they use. This came with a bunch of clothing. I'm so glad none of the other pieces smelled like the dress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes you should order! Love this! Wasn’t too sure about it but took a chance since it was on clearance. Mine didn’t have a smell that some describe. It fit true to size. I’m 5’6 and it falls right above the knee. Worth ordering if you are thinking about it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it... And pockets! I recently got a new job with a business casual dress code and my little alt/emo heart was so sad to have to dress more conservatively... Enter this dress! I love it. It can go from work to play with the change of a cardigan to a jacket. It's flattering with a defined waist and circle skirt. It's obviously easy to spot clean (you know I dropped pizza sauce and hot honey all over it the first time I wore it out), and it has nice, roomy pockets! My only issue is that one of the straps on mine was sewed on backwards, but I don't care enough to exchange it. Overall, I love this dress!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this dress!!!!!!!!! I’m 260ish and 5 foot 5. 44F cup and this dress is so awesome! I got a 3X. The factory smell is strong but it does wear off. It also has pockets and seems to be sort of scratch resistant. FOLLOW THE WASH INSTRUCTIONS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stretchy! I bought this dress last week and it arrived today! I ordered the size 0 and it fits perfectly! I'm 5'9" and my usual size is XL in t-shirts and 16-18 in pants. This dress is very flattering to the waist and is very stretchy. Of course it has a smell to it but it just needs to air out before wearing. I have Torrid pants that are that are the same meterial and they had the same smell to them. I threw them in the wash ( cold cycle ) and let them air dry so I will be doing the same with the dress but I will be using a mesh bag to protect it from damage ( I do this for all of my torrid dresses ) **Photo coming soon**

Any fellow Torrid fan knows of these important factors when determining if an online Torrid piece is for you: - Length compared to your height - Fit compared to your body type Well, for your info, I am curvaceous with an hourglass figure: 5 foot 3 inches and 200 pounds. My waist tends to be one size smaller than my bust and hips. This dress fits perfectly! As a woman in my 40s, I’m not as perky as I used to be yet this dress looks fantastic with no bra on. Just keep in mind your headlights might show! I provided a picture of where the straps are adjusted at for your reference. The dress arrived with no weird smell like some others have reported. My only concern is whether I can figure out how to get the fold creases out that it arrived with. Need to figure out if a clothes steamer is safe on this material. If anyone figured out, please let us know in your review! Oh and if it helps: I normally wear a size 00 or 0 in tops and 1 in bottoms. The 00 was the perfect fit in this dress. I would call this True to Size if you have big chesticles, but perhaps Too Big if you’re smaller in that area (you may want to size down if so). Forgive the dirty mirror. It’s my boyfriend’s bathroom and he doesn’t own a full-length mirror either haha!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite dress! I bought this for travel thinking, easy to pack and can wear it as a jumper or toss a cropped cardigan over to look like a skirt. Now, I wish it came in multiple colors because it's extremely flattering, very comfortable and I can't stop wearing it! The length is perfect, falling right above the knee and the cut is slimming. Seriously, make this baby in more colors!
