Too big
Everything about these shorts were great except they are a bit big. I don't think I should get next size down because they may be to small. I would rather them be to big and have to wear a belt than to small. If they stretch out anymore that will make it worse. We will see. Update I got the next size down and they fit way better. So I suggest trying a size down when ordering these.

Fabulous and comfortable
I love these jorts. I have them in blue as well. They are very comfortable and attractive on. The rips make the trendy. My go to shorts this spring/summer!

My mom bought these for me and they were so good that I lowkey had to go on her account and write a review for them. My mom sized up on these and they were just the PERFECT amount of bagginess even though they kinda kept slipping down. Overall, if you're a baby butch like me, get these! They're so peak.

These are extremely comfortable. They are a smidgen baggy in the waist on me but I am sure that is because I'm in an in between size right now. These have quickly become my favorite shorts!

Perfection
These may be the best shorts I’ve ever owned. I bought them in my regular size for jeans. They’re loose, but not too loose. The front pockets are really deep. I hope they continue to offer this style and add dark denim. I think they’re made better than any of the jeans I’ve bought from Torrid and I have no complaints about the jeans.

Comfy but huge
So I’ve never been a fan of this style, but I tried the Nightfall jorts and I changed my mind. I love these shorts. They are a good length, and they have gargantuan pockets. My only complaint is that they run big. I wear a 12 in the “perfect boyfriend” jeans, usually go for a 1 in weekend pants so the pockets lay right, 0/1 in the wide leg pull-on, 14 in Bombshell, and got a 12 in the Nightfall jorts. The 12 in these falls down. I was hoping I could get a 10 in these falls down blue (the black are too much like the Nightfall and I’m not into the rips), but they’re sold out. I don’t have a big waist/hip difference. I love the color and style, but I am not a size 10. I’m not really even a 12. Pretty solid 14/16 everywhere else. Deducted a star for the sizing, but would still recommend these. I’m 52, 5’9, 170-ish, long torso with it all in the middle, short chicken legs.

Almost perfect
I love the style of these shorts. I bought the rusty nail color along with a pair of baggy jeans in the same size. The sizing is way off on these shorts. There’s about a three inch difference in the width of the shorts and the jeans. I’ll have to return the shorts as they nearly fall off.

I actually super love these. I wish the black ones didn't have holes. I received the rusty nail color today. I generally need either a 22 or 24. I ordered 22 because I expected them to be oversized. They certainly were! I can pull them up and down without unbuttoning. These ones are going back for a size 20.
Aside from the sizing issue, these are awesome. I love love love the length! I'm 5'3" and they hit just below my knees. Also, they say they have 1% spandex, but they feel much more like classic denim, with very little stretch. These are the only jorts they have that are high rise. I'd really love a faded black pair with no holes.

DISTRESSED. FYI.
I bought this two days ago. It arrived so quickly.
Opened it up and found it has tears in the legs. Doesn't show underwear, thank God. Only reason I am keeping it.
Wore them to T he dog park today. Found the lightly baggy shorts have decent pockets in the front. I can put a regular sized water bottle inside.
Comfortable, but I want the same shorts ... but without the slashed fabric.

I'm usually a size 10 in torrid pants but these run super big. I can fit both my hand in it. I ended up getting a 12 lol thinking these will be baggy. Lol 😆 nop just super big.
