Do not discontinue these!
I just tried them on and they are my Holy Grail jeans! It says low-rise, and if you're having anxious flashbacks to the early 2000s, do not worry! They fit more mid-rise on me, but I am short-waisted. High rise pants are a nightmare to me. I am 5'6" and around 270lbs with most of my weight in my hips, butt, and stomach. I bought the 18 regular and they are perfect. There is a little stretch, but not so much where i think they will lose their shape. The baggy straight leg is a nice update toward looser jeans, but not swimming in material like a wide leg. If you're a fellow elder millenial trying to stay current, reluctantly branching out from skinny jeans, definitely try straight leg and baggy straight.

Like vintage denim!
These jeans are so nice! They feel like soft, worn-in vintage denim. There is more stretch than I would have assumed from reading the fabric content, but it makes them very comfy. I’m a 12/14, and the 12 fits with some room. I could have sized down to a 10, but then they would have been just a touch too snug at first.

Perfect!
Current fave! At 5’3” & 265#, these size 20 short jeans are the perfect full length (no drag)! TTS. Just enough stretch. Nice low to mid rise (back could be a bit higher, but that might just be the junk in my trunk), sits just under belly button. Soft & thick, no lumps!

GREAT JEANS Finally
Ok first.. Torrid MORE OF THESE PLEASE. in other colors without distressing etc. MORE LOW RISE PLEASE
As a shorty with a short waist girl low rise is my mid rise. I cannot wear the high rise (they come up to my b**bs) and the mid rise is ok but these - these are IT. I finally look like I have a waist. Seriously considering buying another set and hoping for other colors. Waiting for this high rise trend to end is painful. I initially bought a 16R but they were quite big (I teeter between 14 &16) and a little long. Returned and got a 14S. These are so comfortable.

Finally!!! Perfect
OMG!!! First pair of jeans I’ve bought in years that fit fabulously without me having to compromise somehow with them. My only negative is they are a lot lighter than the website shows. Please make a darker wash, some of us older millennials prefer the more slimming effect of darker denim. Still I love how these jeans feel, finally the low riders are coming back, high waisted jeans never feel good on me. Please torrid, more of these

I am 6’2 and a size 22 Tall. I was super nervous to try the low rise, especially given my height, but these jeans are the best thing I have ever bought. They are long enough, they don’t fall down and are SO flattering. I would say these are more mid rise than low rise, the stretch is pretty normal for denim. Love love love, please make these in all washes immediately!! I need!!

Comfy jeans
Purchased these online, as finding a baggier pair has been rough lately. Im 5'7 and love the tall length but I do carry my weight in my hips and thighs. Purchased these in my normal size, so when I put them on, they were pretty true, a big snug in the hips. As the day went on, they got more relaxed and felt great. I wouldnt size down in these unless you are smaller in the hips/thighs, as it would be too baggy. I wish they came in more and darker washes (and not distressed!)
