The 9 was a good fit, but better if I wear with light socks or cable knit tights. The 8 is a better fit for sheer nylons for more formal outfits. The 9 felt bigger than other 9's I've bought, so if you can only get one shoe, i'd suggest going down a half size or full size. But other than that, great shoes and well worth the money. I've decided to keep both shoes and not return the 9 as I can still wear it with thicker stockings and it gives me that option. The 9 with a sheer nylon and my feet was flopping out at the back.
