I am 5'2 and it does hit the floor when I walk but honestly I just expect that whenever I get anything in a maxi. The "Barbie" detail is so well blended in that you can't tell unless you really look for it-so if you like this dress but don't want to be a walking billboard for Mattel, you're fine. Oh and it has pockets. Win.

It's the perfect length, I'm 5'8 and am a size 1 in Torrid clothing. And to make a perfect dress even better...they added pockets to it! I get tons of compliments every time I wear this amazing dress! Worth the money
