Nice Addition
I agree with other reviewers that the leg is cut wider than "barely," but I still really like the jeans. If you're looking for an alternative to skinny jeans (which, according to some fashion bloggers, are on their way out) these are a nice way to go.

Man I really wanted to like these jeans. 1. I expected a very small boot cut, they are a normal boot cut, no smaller then an average bootcut. 2. The smell, lord the smell. I got a lighter wash in this jean and I've never had a jean stink like this in a light wash. Darker wash? Yes, but not light. I've tried everything. I can smell them as they are on my body. (Couldn't return due to washing them to try and get rid of smell but customer service was awesome about my problem and satisfied my issue) 3. They fit as a loose jean EVERYWHERE. The picture shows them fitting pretty snug through hips and thighs, and then having a barely boot cut. These jeans (I ordered down a size) are baggy all over. The actual waist is pretty comfortable, maybe I should've gone down 2 sizes, but the hips, thighs and knees are super loose and not flattering at all. I've relegated these as "house jeans" because I don't want to wear them in public. They are so ill fitting, I feel like I look "sloppy". I love Torrid, but I'd love them more if they would get more consistent in their pants sizing. I feel like every style or type of pant from Torrid has a different sizing scale. I have multiple pairs of pants from Torrid and they are all different sizes even though my body hasn't changed. Basically if you order these, order down in size, and if they don't fit like a glove out of the box, you're going to end up with saggy bum, hips and thighs.

Barely boot jeans
Thequalify of the jeans are perfect but they were a size too big which made me feel great!! These jeans run big or I have lost weight!! Returning them for a size smaller.

Sizing a little off
I went by the sizing on the sizing chart, but they are too big. I like the actual style and look, just wish they fit. Too bad I couldn't exchange because they were on clearance :(

What Happened Here??
These are tragic. Stiff, odd material and the legs begin to flare out at the knee with a large opening at the hem. They are nothing like the photo or the description and I would return them if I didn't accidentally tear the tags off already. I should have listened to everybody else!

Good Fit
The white whiskering gave the jeans a two tone look I disliked immediately upon removing them from the package. I hated the wash, and returned the jeans.

"barely boot" - more like extreme boot
The waist, hips, thighs, bum, etc fit great. I wanted a slight flair in the calf, which is why I went with "barely boot." I didn't want a full boot cut jean, but these jean's ankle opening is HUGE. My calves and ankles are swimming in fabric. They look, honestly, like bell bottoms. Most pants I buy on Torrid fit me very well - I get the regular length. I'm short-ish and sometimes pants in other brands can be slightly too long. These though? A solid 5-6 inches too long. Unfortunate fit, for me.

Not boot at all and poor fit.
These fit so weird. They are not boot, definitely an old 90's tapered jean. Ugh the material is gross too. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
