Great jacket
This jacket is fire. I did notice for my apple shape I went 1 size up from a 2 to a 3. But the fabric is top notch and classy gives old money vibes. The buttons are awesome. Good job Torrid. Great for work or casual. Definitely a staple piece for your wardrobe.

I bought this top to keep cozy in winter. The top is super soft, I bought the purple top & love it! The color is very pretty, I don’t usually wear purple, it’s flattering & fits good!

Tapers at Tummy
This is a lovely, high-quality suit jacket / "work" blazer (not outside jacket) that gives plus-size girl Ann Taylor-vibes (yes, not just skinny girls need "work" clothes) in a good way. The fabric is thick and made well, and the jacket is lined. However, if you carry your weight in your tummy/ mid-section as I do, this might not be the jacket for you, as it tapers lower down and becomes too snug/ looks like it's pulling at the bottom / waist-zone. I bought my regular Torrid size (2) based on other Belle Isle pieces being generously cut. If I sized up to the 3, the arms might have been too loose & long (I'm 5'5") and the collar/chest part too loose (I'm small-chested.) If you are larger-chested or have a flatter tummy / different shape, this might be a better fit. I'd love to see something like this with more of a peplum cut or more stretch for those of us with tummy-issues! I really wanted to love it, but had to send it back.
