I brought this because it looked so comfortable and effortless and zI was right, be sure to order your size fo not go up as it is a little oversized but you can wear dressed up or form, great for the office or Church

Love this dress!
Simple, beautiful and comfy! I got a lot of compliments when I wore this dress the first time. The material is lightweight and will be perfect for spring and even summer. I love the Belle Isle line and this might be my favorite so far. There isn't any stretch in the middle so if you're apple shape like me, make sure you get a size that doesn't cling and you'll be good. But I think if you get your regular size you should be fine. Torrid, I would buy this style in every color!!

100% cotton!!
I’m 6’ tall and this dress fits me like true midi. I’m usually a 1 in dresses with Torrid I got a 0 and am considering going down to a 00. Festi seems to run really big. It’s 100% cotton! I’m sick of wearing plastic clothing and everything is polyester. But this dress is all natural fibers. Torrid, please keep the natural fiber material coming!!!

Fits smaller than others
I usually wear a 3, or if I want something really loose a 4. However, these popover dolman sleeve dresses have all fit huge so the 2 was perfect on them. This one, bought on final sale and nonrefundable, of course, fit true to size. Seems wrong to take a star for that, but I was sad it didn't fit like all the others this style. Also, looked like a kindergarten teacher from 1985 in the chambray dress....it is what it is. I'll find a slimmer friend to give it to. :)

100% cotton dress
I love the Belle Isle line. This 100% cotton dress is such a great addition to my wardrobe. I didnt consider the long placket until I got the dress home, washed and tumbled dry (for a slight, on purpose shrink!) I can't wait to wear it loose and free on days when I want to feel comfortable and put together, or even on a beach day to cover up and take a stroll. The cotton is a good delicious weight, making this super versatile dress easy to pack and care for.

This is a beautiful Jean dress.unfortunately you want to size down in this dress and you really like long dresses this is the dress for you.
However I am 5’1 I got a size 3. I felt I was wearing a ballon.
I would definitely size down to a size 2
and you need to get this dress hemmed up some.
Overall this would be a great summer dress if it just wasn’t so long

I don't realize it was so long!! I'm 5'4 not the dress for me unfortunately. The other thing I did not like is I thought it would be a lot thinner. This is a really heavy dress. So it'd be extremely hot in summer. It was like wearing an oversized paper sack. Kind of bummed this could have been super cute!! I could see if you were much taller with a larger body frame. You could pull this off but definitely not on a petite shorter person.
