Does not wear as pictured
Very disappointed! In the picture the dress looks loose and airy. However, the elastic in the middle totally ruins the line of the dress. The elastic makes it look like the dress is cut in half and sewed together wrong. If the elastic was not there the dress would hang freely and flow nicely. The material is soft, so it was very sad to have to return this dress, but the elastic made it very unflattering.

Not the same dress!
Just got this in the mail. It’s the same fabric, but not the same dress. It has a thick sloppy exposed elastic waistband. Not the same as the picture. The elastic makes the skirt stick out funny. The top is just bad. I got a size 1, what I get in all torrid dresses for years.
The top is tight the skirt is loose. The sleeves are double lined (just what you want in summertime) and are so poofy is funny. The buttons go down to your belly button. If I unbuttoned it like the model I would be showing everything! And I have a large chest. The neck is awkwardly tight.
Looking at it more, it’s definitely cut like a peasant style dress, the top part sticks out for your chest and kinda folds over the skirt.
I fell in love with this dress from the picture it looked easy breezy casual comfy. It’s not. So disappointed torrid. Maybe I just got a bad one?
