Tall? So much potential
Argh. I wanted so badly to love this but I just don't. I was so excited to get this because I love embroidery and I could think of so many ways to style this. Sadly, it is HUGE and tent-like, which stunned me. It's also really LONG, like tunic length long. But for all you bigger tall queens, this is your shirt! You might love this if you're a size 4, 5 or 6. For me at 5'4 and size 0 or 1, it swallowed me whole. Also, I thought the embroidery was red but it's actually shades of mulberry and clay. Embroidery colors are so much more muted than the pictures appear. Don't get me wrong, it's solidly made and high quality, and you might love this beautiful shirt. For me, it was a hard no. I returned it. This is the perfect shirt for a summer evening at a folk music festival with a white lace skirt and cowboy boots. Or a denim skirt and cute strappy sandals.
