They are soft and comfortable, but hold their shape over a day or even two. I agree with all that more variations of these would keep me buying torrid jeans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely the BEST jeans These jeans are so wonderful. I'm 5'2" and 200lbs and the 12 short is so comfortable. I have hips, thighs and booty and they fit everywhere perfectly. I hope they keep making them and add colors. Loved these so much I bought 2 more pairs.

It's been nearly 5 years since I've been able to confidently and comfortably wear jeans due to a spinal injury that really restricts what cut of waistbands I can wear. I'm 5'5", with a slightly longer leg to torso ratio, but I purchased the 28S and they are the PERFECT length. No issues with the waistband even after a full day at the office!!
