Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fall green I bought these on clearance and fell in love with them. This are a perfect all year around shorts. I am top heavy with long legs 250 5’8 and got a size 0. I previously bought a 2 and it was too big for me. If you are shaped similar you may be able to go down a size since they are a baggy fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT!!! FOR HOT WEATHER I love the material light weight smooth silky feel to them. I did get a size larger than what I normally wear but then went back and bought my regular size too and they fit as well. If you are a hippy gal then you may want to size up because they have no stretch. I agree that the fit here is different than what I am used to for Torrid but the Belle Isle collection is so awesome. I love it. These clothes are good quality and not like Shein. The material is wayyyy better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me 5’ 4” and about 280lbs, for reference. I first purchased these in a size 3, my normal size. While they did fit in the waist and the length was alright, they were a bit tight in the pocket area. I tried to put my hands in my pockets and it was a bit too snug for me. I carry my weight in my stomach, butt and thighs. I then purchased these in a size 4 and they were too long and loose in the waist, though it did fix the pocket tightness. So I guess in these particular shorts I am between sizes 3 and 4, with neither fitting in a way that made me feel good about the way they looked on my body. So personally these are a no for me and will be going back to the store. It’s a shame cause the lightweight material would have been excellent for AZ weather. I hate having to pick overall fit in order to submit my review because the answer to that would be both lol
