Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and stylish I have not had good experience with torrid jeans in the past but I'm glad I gave these a shot. They're super comfortable and stylish. I'm 5'7", 44" waist, 50" hips so big belly and round butt. The size 20 fit perfectly with no gap in the back (granted this may be due to my belly pulling the waist in the other direction lol). They feel a little more casual on me but I can dress them up with booties. They are also comfortable enough to lounge in!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for older ladies I love this particular style of jeans. I had some that I purchased from another brand 7 or 8 years ago. I was thrilled to see these. I love the fit! Yes, they are high rise which works for me as I have a high waist. They actually fit my waist without the huge gaps other styles create. The lower leg of the jeans doesn’t hug the calf, the length is good and the width is perfect. I hope you continue to carry this style continues. I would love it in black or olive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! These are elegant jeans, and the first ‘wide’ leg that don’t look like A) elephant legs OR B) a bad imitation of skinny jeans. I’m pear shaped so need the high rise and straight down from my hips…and these are so far the ONLY Torrid jeans to fit that bill! I’m 5’9” and the Long hover just over the floor, so with shoes they’re perfect. They’re stretchy, soft, perfect color, comfortable, don’t stretch out too much during the day, and the pockets stay nice and tucked in front.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from StovePipe- in between I was skeptical about these, but I was intrigued by the name and have been desperate for more “straight leg denim”. I am 5’0 at 200 lbs and I wear/ ordered a size 12 short. The material is very soft, not much tummy control but actually flattering, the legs are wide and then tapered at the bottom. I call them my new Mom jeans. I plan to order another pair in a 10 regular.
