Yes, the ice rink is cold and yes, we play a lo too ice hockey here in the Las Vegas area. With a t-shirt as a base layer, this sweatshirt is not only warm and fashionable, it is extremely comfortable. With no bra and.or base layer, it is warm but not overpowering when the weather is mid-temperature. It doesn't have that fuzzy lint inside as so many sweatshirts do. I love it and wish there were more colors available.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ruined by Weird Ribbon This sweatshirt has a cheap ribbon sown along the shoulders and hood that wasn't clear in the pictures. The texture of the ribbon feels like a wind-breaker and makes a skin-crawling noise when it touches my hair. The rest of the sweatshirt is comfortable, but I wish the ribbon was more obvious in the pictures because I wouldn't have purchased the sweatshirt had I seen it in advance.
