Great dress bad buttons
Bottom line: if you are not willing to reinforce the buttons or pay someone to do it, this is not the dress for you; if you are, then get this dress!!! I love that there are 3 slots for the button, so the same dress might work for different sized/heighted people; I love the pattern on the blue/cream; I like the pattern on the multicolor way more than I thought I would based on the online pictures. I bought the blue/cream dress originally. First time I wore it, a button popped off while at the office, so a friend had to pin it for me. I then redid both buttons to ensure they would not pop off again; so completely removed them and re-sewed them on, which does show a small "seam" but it is not noticeable given the pattern and so far I always wear the cardigan. Love the cut and fabric so much, I then bought the multicolor dress. First time I wore it (today), got in the car to head to work and a button popped off (I had intended to reinforce the buttons before wearing, but forgot); went back in to the house and put on the blue/cream dress instead and will reinforce the buttons on the multicolor dress when I get home. For reference (pictures), I'm 5'9" and guessing I weigh around 275, wear 44C bra, and this is a size 3 and I have it on second button slot; you can see some bra in front but you could choose bra with basic straps and no backfat panels or bra with clear straps.

I love this dress and it’s fairly true to size. Don’t size down. I one-hundred-percent agree with everyone and the buttons issue. I didn’t even know there were buttons on the straps until I was trying one on in the dressing room and when I removed the dress they popped off. But I had tried on a 0 when my normal size is 1. Many Belle Isle dresses run large, this is not one in my opinion. Though I am also on the bustier side. I will put in the disclaimer that I have not worn this for a long period of time so hopefully the buttons do not pop off like others are saying. I’m hoping since I got the correct size, and I’ll be cautious removing the dress, that won’t be an issue.

Feels and looks great
I love this dress the fit and feel of it. Plus it has pockets. Agree chest little snug but it works and slims my belly. Quality is good and I have hard time finding flattering clothing at this store. True to size .

Belle Smock Backed Sundre
I love reading the reviews when something sparks my interest. So, I actually went into the store today to take a look at the dress. It is not hard but rather light and smooth to the touch. I range between a 12-14 in dresses and pants. I tried the dress on and love it. It also has pockets which is a plus for me. I will be traveling soon, Yessss, it’s going in the suitcase 😊

It's a pretty dress and I like the length. Usually a size 2 fits me well in dresses with a little extra room but this dress is quite snug in the chest and stomach area. I can wear it but if someone is busty it would be too tight.Sizing up would result in the straps being too loose. Fabric is not soft and is a bit stiff.

Beautiful but long
I purchased the Java Leaves Multi print dress and really like it. The fabric isn’t too heavy, it seems like a great dress for Spring. It’s best without a bra, and a good length but a little longer than I’d like on my 5’1 frame. Hit right above my ankles and I will ultimately be returning this dress, but I was tempted to keep it. I ordered a 00, I’m about 160lbs.

Comfortable dress! But…
I feel seen by the other reviewers. I wore this dress for the first time and was reaching across my body for something and the button on the strap popped off. The dress itself is super cute and has pockets but it does run more tight in the chest. I can usually size down one size in dresses to a 0 but this dress fits much better at a 1. The ruching in the back doesn’t stretch much. I’m trying to decide whether to return this or alter the straps.
