Other reviews have said it’s like a blanket. It’s not near as thick as a blanket but is more like a thinner wool like material. I think it’s gorgeous on! It doesn’t have “sleeves” like the pictures kinda makes out. Instead it’s like a poncho with a belt through the inside going to the outside on the front to tie it. If you live in a colder area it would be perfect for sitting around a bonfire or night stroll in the city
