They are definitely stand up tall pants for a day when you want to show out, they create a great waist line while giving the illusion of long legs. The wide leg cut is also very flattering. I wear them with a Harper French tucked. Perfection!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A nice pair of pants they're just what i wanted something different than the constant skinny jean or leggings I bought my reg sz 18 but a sz 16 would've been best for me due to the fabric used it they're stretch which makes them feel extra roomy. They have pockets and look great on me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flatering cut I am not usually a fan of a high waist, but I have noticed with my figure it is the cut that works best and accentuates my curves in a flattering way. While the material has some give (that spandex), it doesn't cling to all the "wrong" spots, is thick enough that I feel like I'm actually covered by something substantial, but not sweating like crazy because it breaths. Too often the materials used for plus size women is thin, overly clingy and unflattering; this is not so with these pants.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wide but not clown pants These other reviews have validity but however I feel a little different. I bought these in my usual size 14 and the waist fits perfectly. I really love the security in the side-zipper with a button closer and clasp at the top for maximum support/reinforcement. The pockets are a great edition and I think they can be styled up or down. However, they are very wide-legged and probably should just be renamed as "gauchos" if anyone remembers that fashion choice of the 2000s. I like them! But I they are *really* long, like I'm 5'3 and need about 5-6 inches hemmed...but I like their structure and the pleats down the front. Overall they flatter my body shape really nicely and I feel like a cute lil hourglass when I'm in them. I bought these a little bit after the quarantine started so there's not much I can really do right now, but I most definitely will need to hem them soon. I guess my only suggestion is for Torrid to make a petite or shorter inseam version.
