It's A Winner, Love this Dress Despite the Glitter
I purchased this dress today and fell in love with it instantly. I purchased it for an upcoming event and tried it on in a Torrid store. My son and niece were my critics, so once they gave me so many positive compliments, I knew it was a winner. To me, the glitter wasn't a problem. Any article of clothing with glitter, it will come off. Nice material. It's thick, but still very comfortable to wear. I Love Torrid. This is my number one website to shop from. I've purchased almost everything in my wardrobe from torrid.

So festive and flattering
I just bought this dress today and I’m totally in love. The design is beautiful and pictures do not do it justice. The cut of the dress is very flattering, enhancing the features I would like and casually hiding the things I’d rather not emphasize (tummy). Be warned that any contact with this dress with cause you to end up covered in glitter, but hey, life is a party right?

I love this dress!! I’ve wanted a sparky dress for a while but haven’t found one that I loved until now. I saw this dress while shopping for my birthday outfit and knew I needed to try it. It fit perfectly. I stood looking in the mirror for about ten min just watching it sparkle. The material is velvet which adds a luxurious feel. I’m assuming there is an adhesive used to attach the glitter/sparkles. The sparkles do come off while you wear it so if that’s an issue for you then maybe skip this dress. It personally doesn’t bother me one bit.

I was looking for a dress to wear to my sister in law’s wedding, when I came across this dress I was unsure about it. I loved the description of the dress, but the pictures weren’t that great. I went in to my local Torrid and as soon as I saw the dress I fell in love. The pictures do this dress no justice, it’s drop dead gorgeous in person!!! The dress is true to size. The sparkle; the way it catches the light & the belt that’s attached helps sench in your waist just enough to exaggerate that fit and flare look. This dress is definitely a 10! Very expensive looking & the quality of fabric is amazing. Heavy enough for a cool day and a definite eye catcher at any upscale event. The only thing is the glitter transfers onto everything. Which doesn’t bother me because I like to leave my mark! Lol. Will update review soon with pics.

Super flattering cut. Fairly low on us busty girls, but in a good way. Heavy velvet fabric will definitely keep you toasty at holiday parties. The glitter is glued in dots all over the fabric so yes, it does fall off everywhere. I left a glitter trail but I think its worth it! Overall very pleased.

I bought this dress for a semi-formal company christmas party. It was perfect. I have huge boobs (g cup) and wore this with a modest lace bralette to cover the massive amnt of cleavage. One downside...GLITTER EVERYWHERE! Itll be in your hair, on your coat, on the floor, the seat of the car....everywhere. if not for that, I'd give it 5 stars, because its comfy and super flattering. Just...glitter bomb.

So....apparently many of the other reviewers do not have a varied history with wearing glittery dresses. Glitter going everywhere and on everyone and on everything comes with the territory of such a dress, so if you do not want to be vacuuming up glitter in your car or on your couch for years to come, simply avoid. However, this dress is amazing. I needed something very fancy for my husband's work party where everyone gets decked out to the nines, and I am so glad I found this dress. Yes, glitter is everywhere but the holidays is the one time of year where it's totally acceptable. The dress is velvety and very warm, especially with the longer sleeves, but it's perfect for the winter weather. It's pretty heavy and I did not need to wear a slip with it (I really try to avoid wearing slips). I wore black tights and velvet platform pumps with this, and big glittery earrings to compliment, and it all worked together amazingly. I felt so good in this dress, fit right in at the party among all the other glammy women, and danced the night away. Someone else commented that the waist didn't hit them in the right place, but on me it was perfect. Not every dress cut and style is going to work on every single person. But I am so happy with this dress and I know I will get a lot of wear out of it over the next few years. Thanks so much, Torrid!

Love this dress...not the glitter
I love this dress. It is so flattering! I had a silver and gold holiday party. I ordered every silver dress I could find on the torrid website. None of them compared to this. I loved the sleeves, the thick material and the sexy cut. I did not like the glitter! I literally shook the dress out on my back porch. Everywhere I went was covered in glitter, thankfully it was silver glitter which worked for the party. If you hate glitter don’t buy the dress, if you are like me and can look beyond the glitter, give this dress a try.
