Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy and sexy! This dress totally exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't call it "formal", but it's definitely versatile. I would wear it to a Christmas party, birthday party, shopping, whatevs. I'm a stay at home mom, and I just wear it around the house to feel like Morticia Addams. Haha. I'm 5'8, 230 lbs and I teeter between size 1 and 2 in Torrid dresses. I ordered the 2 with this one, but I feel like I could've done a 1 and gotten a more snug fit...which I like sometimes because I have a smaller waist with bigger hips. I recommend this dress all day, every day. It's not too fancy for every day wear, in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous!!! I love this dress! It's so flattering. I have an hour glass figure and am super tall, and this amazingly comes all the way down to the floor. I like that the solid part stops at the knee, not above the knee nor too far down. I tried on a size 1 and a size 2, both fit but I ended up getting the 2 (I'm a regular size 18 but can sometimes fit a 16 depending on the cut). The lace is great quality and the dress is just amazing. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

I've longed for it since I saw someone else wearing it on IG, and I just couldn't justify spending that much at the time. Fast forward to getting it on sale and immediately purchasing it. This dress is an absolute dream! It's comfy, fits well, and it's stunning with all that lace. I probably could have gone with the shorter height version, but I'm happy with what I have -- just need to find some heeled shoes to pair with it now! The only complaint I have is the ties on the sleeves. The ends of them are metal and clack against EVERYTHING. I plan on tying them up in bows as tightly as possible and snipping those little ends off. Other than that, I'm in love with this dress!

I was so worried about getting the perfect dress because being a full figured woman normally I would spend $300 or more on a fomal dress, and I simply did not have the money. Then I remembered Torrid. I went to their site and searched black dresses and fell in love with this one. When it arrived it was carefully packaged and neatly folded. I opened it and the material was so soft uet strong. I closed my eyes and slipped it on... IT FIT LIKE A DREAM!! It is lightweight yet strong and so so Comfortable and breathable. The material felt great against my skin and wasn't scratchy or rough at all. I recieved so many compliments on the night of the wedding and the bride was beyond thrilled! Thank you Torrid from the bottom of my heart for making clothing that is not only strong, durable, and affordable, but keeps up with fashion trends and helps your customers feel confident and beautiful!!

Perfect and comfortable fit. The lace is of great quality!! Buy this ladies, you will not be disappointed. It also covered areas of my arms that I am not comfortable with
