But even without spanx the length was great, didn’t scoop down under my arms, didn’t strangle the girls. It’s a perfect dress for looking professional at work. I wore it to work and definitely turned some heads.

I didn’t realize it until I was already at work (I was wearing black spanx underneath so I didn’t see a color difference). Luckily I had a safety pin but it was right on the stomach so it looked weird the whole day. Boo.

I did buy and 18 and for the Maxi's I have 16's so that is something you should consider. It is stretch material as well so depending on how tight you want it to fit that will depend on the size. I wanted it looser.
