It's true to size, I'm a size 0 in shirts and usually size up to 1 in any kind of jacket or pullover, just because I like the over-sized style. I could have ordered this in a 0 and it would have fit perfectly, but I even love it just a little over-sized.I'm so impressed with the quality and the look of this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is gorgeous!!!! I just received this and am so pleased! It is sumptuous velvet with very detailed multi-colored embroidery. I wasn't sure about the sizing, as it is my first order from Torrid, so I got a 5/6X, when I probably could have gotten by with a 3/4X. I will be taking it to dressmaker to bring the hem up. It looks like a short kimono in the pictures, but it almost reaches the floor, as I am 5'1". The material is also quite heavy, but hope with losing some length it will lighten up. I was concerned that this might be too "young" for me, as I am a senior citizen, but it is so pretty that I am not even going to consider that now!
