It's a sweater material, but thin and lightweight. Fits great! In the pic I have it pulled up to my waist. I'm 5'6 and you can see it's pretty long.

Full disclosure midterms were rough and I've put on some stress weight. I ordered a size up (3) and it fits perfect. This skirt might run on the smaller end but not by much. I love this skirt, it's fun and I can't wait to wear it to work.
