Cute jeans!
I bought the 18 short, and they fit me perfectly at 5'6 and 230-235 lbs.
The flare is super cute, they fit slim through the hips legs and flare out at the end.
They have belt loops, but also have a black stretchy type waistband inside. The stretch is comfortable without being too stretchy, it flatters my stomach nicely.

OMG...perfect bombshell, dark denim, hugging all the right spots!!! the perfect length for a 5'6.5" tall lady. I ordered a 24 regular. Chef kiss!!!! So happy these were in stock. If you're my height and want to wear them with a heeled boot, I would order tall.

Size down for high rise
I really l, really love these jeans. It took me a while, I was a jeggings girl. These have a very high waist, and I tried three sizes before finally figuring out where I felt comfortable and they didn't fit baggy/slouchy. To me, these fit best when tighter. Because they go above your belly button, def go by your true high waist size.
