Boss lady coat
I'm so obsessed. I feel like an absolute boss in this coat. I live in a midwestern city and was worried it wouldn't be warm enough but super warm, when layered with a scarf and gloves. It's gorgeous and fits me perfect. I usually wear a 3 or 4 and a 4 is perfect. I thought about returning for a 5 but I think it would fit too big.

If you’re looking for very demure, very classy. Thick coat. Pair with black gloves and booties/knee-highs. Red lipstick, add shades & Enjoy!
Pros: Fav color, Thick, warm but pair with a long sleeve in cold
Cons: No pockets, no closure button

Tricky Sizing
This is a beautiful jacket but buying something like this online is very difficult going off of measurements. For example, I am 5’8, 260 pounds and can usually wear 2x, 3x depending on brand and item. Pants can be anywhere from 18-22, again depending on brand. Bra size 44-46 C/D. I give all that info to say that based on my “measurements” I should have gotten a 3x. Based on reviews though I knew getting a bigger size would make it come off “robe like”. Torrid had a good sale and every size was sold out except L. I went ahead and bought it without thinking it would fit. Guess what? IT FIT! I was able to close it and lift my arms above my head. Scared though, I went ahead and bought a 2x just to compare and while it fit more loose, I liked the L better. So, I returned and bought a 1x (as a precaution) and I’m praying that it is the happy medium because the jacket is absolutely stunning. So you might want to size down to prevent that “robe like” look. As for the pockets..it does not have “functional” pockets. There are holes that are sewn in the middle that you “can”pull apart but your items if used as pockets will fall into the lining of the jacket. I have not worn it aside from trying it on to say whether or not it is an itchy material.

Love it
Just got this lovely coat in the mail today. My only complaint is there are NO POCKETS! It’s 2024 & pockets are a necessity especially on a fall/winter coat.

Cute but itchy
It fits very oversized to me. I purchased a size 3 and I could have easily gone a size down. The material is also very itchy. I'm keeping because I love the pattern but I will have to wear long sleeves with this.

Pretty but….
Pretty but itchy. That 10% wool made my neck itch and I couldn’t wear it. Other than that it’s really pretty, just not for me.

Great for the right body
I ordered this and was SO excited for it to get here. Its a well made coat and would be warm. I had to return it because it was very overwhelming on my 5'5" frame. It looked like a house robe more than a stylish jacket. I think it could work for someone taller. Bummed but thankful for Torrid's easy and quick returns :)
