Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Took a chance after reading the bad reviews...glad i did cuz i love this dress. The neckline looks great, very flattering. I can wear size 2 or 3 tops and i bought this dress in a 3. I think 2 would have been tight. Smaller chest so maybe thats why it worked for me.

I sized up to 4, but I should have stayed with my usual 3 and now it's sold out. 4 still works for me, but it's a bit less defined at the waist than I would like. It's still very cute though. I plan to check my local Torrid one more time to see if they have a 3. Otherwise, I will wear it and get it taken in slightly, if necessary. I'm medium bust for a plus size woman - 42DD. No issues with the fit at all for me actually. I'm mostly an apple shape.

I wear a 42 DD and I’m a size 2 height 5”2 I am hourglass shape. Maybe that is why this fits good? Is wrinkled because I just received . Anyway, I paired it with a pair of the Torrid snake skin slides so cute.

If you are a plus size woman with a large upper stomach and large bust, you will likely need to size up (per other reviews). For reference, I am 4'11" and 198lbs. For sizing reference, I wear 14s in Torrid jeans or size 1 in pants, 00 in normal tops, 0 in fitted tops, and 00 or 0 in dresses. My bust is 40b. I have an apron belly. I got the 00 and it fits beautifully; there's plenty of swing room, and it fits the bust with no gaping. All this is to say: if you're on the smaller chest/smaller waist (i.e. pear-shaped where the majority of weight is in your lower half / hips & butt region), this dress will be a great fit for you! If you're not and you like the style, size up! It's lightweight and so in fashion. Definitely a must-buy for my pear girlies. The length is a maxi for someone under 5'0", too, so keep that in mind. I love it as a maxi, so no issues for me!
