Definitely try on in store but size down and see if what size down best suits your body. I’m 5’2” and it’s like a maxi to me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yeah Baby I think this dress is very beautiful. It's easy to wear, it's a lightweight fabric that flows beautifully. I am 5'4 and it comes to the top of my feet, which is perfect as I don't have to have it hemmed and I can wear sandals in summer. Torrid's fabrics are getting better and better. I didn't mind is shrinking a bit to get more of a midi length so I dried it in the dryer and it didn't shrink at all. Impressed. I love the maxi length too so I'm good. This will be a pleasure to wear all spring and summer. Would love to see a dress like this that has a round neck and elbow length sleeves for the summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful but big This dress is stunning. Bought to wear out for valentines. It’s so flattering! You will want to size down as it fits big. I went down 2 sizes from my regular as it was big in the chest (I have an H cup and was swimming)

I wear a size 2 in dresses but ordered a size 1 based on the reviews and it is super tight across my stomach. I feel like the sizing down definitely depends on your proportions. I am hour glass shaped but have a large apron belly. Despite the dress being pictured as flowy on the bottom part of the dress, sizing down will impact this and if you have a larger stomach, you will risk it not fitting the same. I will need to return and reorder but now missed the 30% off plus ability to use torrid cash 😔 Sharing so anyone ordering can keep this in mind 🙏🏻

My only complaint is that it runs a little big, especially in the bust. I'm a 2 in torrid and it was a little big on me. I normally do not have any sizing issues with a size 2. But it's flattering and classy.

I went down one size and I'm so glad I did. The bust area is still too big. Had I ordered my normal size the dress would have been balloon-ish.
