Rated 5 out of 5 by from So versatile ! This kimono can be worn for so many occasions. A very rich burgundy stretch lace, it's a great topper for fall events and winter holidays. Wear it with jeans or black leggings to add a classy touch. It is true to size-I am 5'4", 42D & a 2-3 in torrid clothes- and went with a 2. This looks best when more fitted than loose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Torrid More Please! Soft fabric, not scratchy. It is a deep plum color, not botanical green. Washes great inside out and buttoned in a delicates bag by itself or hand wash. I love all the detail work this kimono has. Perfect sleeve fit to the wrists, good flow in the length surprisingly with my regular size for. I could of sized up if I would have wanted more flowy to wear, or for a lay around at home kind of look, which I came back for but they are all gone. Torrid, please bring this EXACT kimono back, in other colors please! I would get a few in different sizes and colors if they were available.

I bought this online when it 1st came out and I unfortunately put the package in my closet ( on a high shelf on top of some shoe boxes and it slid behind a couple so I forgot about it) didn't find it until last night, but what a great surprise! Its GORGEOUS! I have the pale blue/teal one and knew this one would be just as great! This one is even better imho because it has lace on it! Combining the clip dot material, with lace is a win-win!!! My only wish would be that its slightly shorter, I'm 5'5 and while I havent worn this one yet, the blueish/teal one hung to the ground when I wore it with sandals, and my high high-heel wearing days are pretty much over. I still wear boots with decent sized heels, so I guess this one will have to wait to be worn until fall/winter. (Its already been in the closet for more than a year so what's a little bit longer?) Grab the last one while you can! You'll LOVE it just as much as I do! For Torrid, while us short girls love the max kimonos as much as our tall friends, how about making some just a few inches shorter for us, but below the knees as well?) ❤

When I wear it as a dress, I leave only the top 2 buttons undone & put a black slip dress underneath, then add a belt for more definition. But I also like to wear it as a kimono, unbuttoned all the way down over a cami and jeans. I'm 5'6" and it comes down below the knee. I usually wear either 00 or 0 & got this in 0 because of the buttons & empire waist & it fits comfortably. A 00 might have worked too, but I wanted to make sure the buttons didn't have any gaping over the chest (size 36DDD). The lace portion of the sleeves is not tight or scratchy. The color is listed as botanical green online, but the dress is a deep plum as pictured on the model.
