I feel like I can use it with more of my outfits and not just for Valentine's season. It holds quite a bit more than I was expecting too. The crossbody chain is thick and sturdy, stops at the top of my hip. I'm 5'2" but very wide in the belly so if you're more narrow, it may stop a little lower. I bought it on sale so I am super happy with it!
