The waist is really at your waist! Its not really a crop fit but its not a LONG hoodie style... I am short at 5 foot 3in and apple shaped I bought the pants as well and it is very comfortable and stylish. I recommend!

It defines my waist without being too snug. And it is so soft! I bought the gray with pink heart, one for myself and one for my daughter. She loves it too. Fits true to size.
