The temps were in the upper 20s and with this comfy and soft top on underneath my coat, I was warm enough without further layering as I sometimes have to do.

You can dress up or down and it covers your bottom if you choose to wear leggings or skinny jeans. I am an apple shape with large upper arms and I love the fit. If you want a tighter fit you may want to size down but the fit is perfect.
